Well on Monday we had a Bye Bye Paci Party for Rebekah. I made a cake and everything. Then we found all the pacifiers in the house and dumped them in the garbage. Rebekah started to sing happy birthday when I brought out the cake, so we improvised and sang Bekah's paci, bye bye, instead of happy birthday to you...bye bye paci, bye bye. She's done great so far without them. She tells me right before bed, I don't have a paci anymore, because I'm a big girl! I had a paci party! Today for quiet time was the first time she wanted one, and she through a fit when she didn't get one (she was pretty tired!) but bless her heart she finally fell asleep and woke up just fine. Not too painful, considering the paci-addiction, and now, I think we are truly paci-free!
