Trouble with teeth

Well it seems that our girls really do not care very much about having teeth. Alyssa has followed the examples of both sisters, by killing of a few of her teeth. Her top front two, to be precise. All she did was run in the house...and then she tripped and fell. When we picked her up to check her out, her two upper gums were bleeding and her two front teeth looked like they were slanted a little more into her mouth. Ugg. I called my Mom (who else?) who is a dental hygenist, and now we just have to make sure she doesn't get an infection. Unfortunately, even if it doesn't get infected it's most probable that we will have more black teeth in the family. Luckily they are baby teeth, and will eventually fall out anyway. :) Maybe by then the girls will have learned to not bash their teeth around.

Rough and Tough. When I was her age my brother threw a kid's player record at me and knocked them out. I had a toothless smile for many years.

Poor Alyssa . . . she is so cute.

That is exactly what happened to Leah in Jan of this year. I basically just pulled out her bottom two teeth and be done with it already.

But then she lost her perfect pearly white smile. Sigh.
