So today I have a catch up scrapbook page. Rebekah can get so determined to have her way, especially when she's tired. This was one of those times. We went swimming at a friend's house and of course, Bekah did not want to leave. She pretty much threw a fit the whole way home. And then she would not change into clothes, I guess in her mind that would be admitting defeat. And a two year old does not surrender! Luckily for us she had a fine nap on the floor and was then much more agreeable!
Today at church the talks were on families and working on making our family one who wants to be together forever. Along similar lines, I found this quote by Robert D Hales, who said:
Children naturally look to their parents to learn of the characteristics of their Heavenly Father. After they come to love, respect, and have confidence in their earthly parents, they often unknowingly develop the same feelings towards their Heavenly Father.
No wonder parenthood is such an important calling.
